Maycee was unable to stop her downward slide losing via a unanimous decision at UFC 258 against Alexa Grasso. Barber beat Miranda Maverick via split-decision at UFC on ESPN Sandhagen vs. Dillashaw. Barber won over Montana De La Rosa by unanimity during UFC Fight Night 205 held on April 23, 2022. Barber then went on to take over Casey O'Neill and fight Jessica Eye at UFC 276 in July 2022. The fight was won by a unanimous decision as well. In addition, this was the last bout of her deal with UFC. Later, in the year, she signed an extension with them. Barber triumphed in her most recent bout with Andrea Lee, on March 25th 2023. The bout took place in UFC Fight Night Vera and Sandhagen.
